Parks & Recreation Receives National Accreditation

The Pinecrest Parks and Recreation Department is in an elite group of 214 agencies out of over 10,0000 nationwide to receive national accreditation. That puts the department in the top 2% of parks departments nationwide. This accreditation is the gold standard for parks and recreation agencies. Visit one of our parks to enjoy five-star amenities.

Pinecrest Monthly Family Bike Rides

Over 50 Pinecrest residents took their bicycles for an early morning spin during the recent Pinecrest Family Bike Ride, a new and growing tradition in the Village of Pinecrest. The community-focused ride started and ended at Evelyn Greer Park and included a delicious pit stop at Azucar Ice Cream, where children and parents enjoyed sweet treats and meeting neighbors. The next ride is on January 25.

The Village of Happiness Report is Here

In March 2024, Pinecrest launched the Happy Pinecrest People Initiative (HaPPI) in partnership with the World Happiness Foundation. More than 350 residents engaged in strategic workshops, focus groups and resident surveys to help our community gain a deeper understanding of what contributes to happiness in Pinecrest. 73% of residents report being happy. Schedule Inspections via Text

The Pinecrest Building and Planning Department is pleased to introduce a new, efficient way to schedule and manage inspections using text messaging. The new text system complements the Building and Planning Department's existing options for scheduling inspections online or by phone by allowing users to schedule inspections using text messaging.
