A coyote has been sighted in the Pinecrest neighborhoods listed below. Coyotes live throughout South Florida and typically avoid people, but residents in these areas should stay alert, especially at dawn, dusk, and overnight.

At the September 22 meeting, the Village Council approved a final millage rate of 2.503 mills, unchanged from last year, and adopted the operating and capital outlay budget for fiscal year 2026-2027, which begins on Oct. 1, 2026.
