Past Mayors

2008-2016

Cindy Lerner served as the third mayor from 2008 - 2016. She is known for her GREEN initiatives and helping to turn Pinecrest Gardens into the cultural arts center it is today. 

2004-2008

Gary C. Matzner served as the second mayor from 2004 - 2008 and is considered the founding father of Pinecrest in recognition of his efforts as one of the main advocates for incorporation of the area. In 1996, he served as the chairman of the Charter Commission which drafted the framework of the new municipal government.

Evelyn Langlieb Greer served as the first mayor from 1996 - 2004 and is considered the founding mother of Pinecrest in recognition of her efforts as one of the main advocates for incorporation of the area.
