When am I allowed to water my lawn?
While we are working toward having lush green lawns, we must also think about water conservation. Miami-Dade County allows residents with even-numbered addresses to water their lawns Thursdays and Sundays and residents with odd-numbered addresses to water their lawns Wednesdays and Saturdays. What are the hours in which landscaping work is permitted?
Commercial landscapers can work in the Village from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. of Saturday. No commercial work is allowed on Sundays and legal holidays. Residents can operate their own landscaping equipment from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday and legal holidays.
Are their any regulations for the use of a leaf blower?
All leaf blowers used in the Village must meet a noise requirement. All leaf blowers used in the Village must meet the requirement of having a stamp from the manufacturer or testing laboratory certifying a rating of no more than 65 DBA.
