Schedule Inspections via Text

The Pinecrest Building and Planning Department is pleased to introduce a new, efficient way to schedule and manage inspections using text messaging.

The new text system complements the Building and Planning Department's existing options for scheduling inspections online or by phone by allowing users to schedule inspections using text messaging.

How to schedule inspections by text:

1. Text Commands: Send one of the following commands to 855.606.2224: 

SCHEDULE – To schedule an inspection

RESCHEDULE – To reschedule an inspection

CANCEL – To cancel an inspection

RESULTS – To obtain inspection results

END – To conclude your session

2. Opt-In: Text 855.606.2224 to opt in to receive messages and begin scheduling.

3. Interactive Prompts: Follow the prompts to:

Enter your permit number

Provide the inspection code

(Optional) Add a comment for the inspection (maximum 33 characters)
