Village Council at Pickle Ball Opening

Pinecrest Welcomes New Pickleball Courts at Coral Pine Park

The Village of Pinecrest recently celebrated the opening of new pickleball courts at Coral Pine Park with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Village Council along with Village Manager Yocelyn Galiano, Village Clerk Priscilla Torres and Parks and Recreation Director Robert Mattes attended, demonstrating their support for the project.

The addition of the four new courts reflects the growing popularity of pickleball in the Pinecrest community and the commitment of the Village to provide recreational opportunities for residents.

These new courts cater to players of all ages and experience levels. Court rental fees are $16 per hour before 6 pm, and $20 per hour after 6 pm, accommodating up to four guests per reservation. Players eager to try out the new courts can reserve their timeslots at pinecrest-fl.gov/registration.

In addition to the new courts at Coral Pine Park, residents can also enjoy free pickleball at Suniland Park. The courts there are open seven days a week from 8 am to noon, providing another excellent opportunity for community members to engage in this popular sport.

The Village of Pinecrest continues to invest in its parks and recreational offerings, fostering a sense of community and promoting an active lifestyle for residents. The new pickleball courts at Coral Pine Park provide a fun and accessible way for locals to enjoy the outdoors and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

So, grab your friends, your paddles, and join in the excitement at the new pickleball courts.
