Potable Water Lateral Connection Installation Project

This project will provide lateral connections to the potable water lines, and meter boxes to about 150 homes. The local utility, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will perform the work of tapping the main lines and installing the laterals and meter boxes. The Village will provide any needed restoration to the pavement, swale, and sidewalks. Each connection will require a permitted design and the Village has contracted with a professional engineering firm to provide those services. The final necessary studies and approvals are in progress and construction is expected to begin late spring 2024.

The Public Works office notifies affected residents once a conveyance has been made and provides step by step instructions on how to obtain potable water from WASD.
