Village-Wide Transportation Master Plan

In 2018, the Village Council adopted a Transportation Master Plan(PDF, 7MB) in an effort to enhance mobility and to provide traffic calming Village-wide. The plan is being implemented as a long-range capital projects program which includes traffic calming initiatives, sidewalk improvements, traffic operational improvements and an on-demand free electric car service. Traffic calming initiatives include speed tables, speed jumps, traffic circles, and diverters.

A total of $450,000 is budgeted for FY2026 for the following capital transportation projects:
