We encourage all residents to attend the next meeting of the Pinecrest Parkway Citizen’s Committee on July 19 at 5:30 p.m. and contribute to the Pinecrest Parkway (US 1) Vision Plan.

The Pinecrest Parkway (US 1) Vision Plan is a continuing, work-in-process – nothing has been decided – and input from Pinecrest residents is essential in helping the committee, working with architectural firm MHCP COLAB, make recommendations that will shape the future of height, density, and land-use parameters for Pinecrest Parkway.

The meeting will include a summary of Miami-Dade County’s proposed Rapid Transit Zone ordinance, including the protection of all single-family and two-family neighborhoods as they exist today, and self-determination of zoning decisions by Pinecrest and other municipalities.
