Off Duty Request

Extra Duty Police Services

The Pinecrest Police Department permits extra-duty police work for private individuals. All details have a 3-hour minimum, and the following rates apply:

Community Service Aide (CSA)  

Police Officer

Police Sergeant

$51.50

$79.50

$96.85

Note: A sergeant/supervisor is needed when four or more officers are contracted. CSA may only be hired for traffic control duties and not security. An 8% management/convenience fee is charged by the vendor (RollKaLL).
 
Extra-duty jobs are voluntary, and there is no guarantee an officer will be available when requested. Hiring a police officer does not exempt the client from state law, county ordinance, or Village code. Specifically, noise and parking violations will not be tolerated. Should a violation occur and the client refuses to correct the violation, the extra-duty officer will depart the location, and the client will be billed for all applicable hours. Pinecrest Police would appreciate your cooperation in avoiding these potential conflict of interest issues.

How to Request Off Duty Detail

Clients may call in their request directly to the scheduling vendor - RollKall at 1-855-958-5596 or email the request to rkpinecrest-fl@rollkall.com, or by following the prompts at this link for RollKall. using the following link to RollKall.

Please submit your extra-duty job requests at least seven (7) days before the event as last-minute requests are less likely to be staffed.

 

All jobs must be paid in full before the scheduled event. Payments are processed directly through RollKall.

 

Before the event, confirm if an officer has volunteered to work the off duty detail by calling RollKall at 1.855.958.5596 or by contacting the Police Department’s Administrative Division at 305.234.2100.
