The Village will update this webpage with timely information about the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works Project to replace the bridge over the C-100A Canal on Southwest 136 Street from Southwest 72 Avenue to SW 70 Avenue. Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2024, and is expected to be completed by November 2025. These dates may be impacted by weather and the availability of materials and labor.

HERE IS AN UPDATE ON THE CURRENT STATUS AND ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATES FOR EACH OF THE TRAFFIC CIRCLES:

SW 184 St and Old Cutler Rd: This location is pending the removal of two poles by FPL, which has impacted our contractor’s schedule. The estimated completion date is the end of November 2024.

SW 152 St and Old Cutler Rd: Construction has been delayed due to necessary plan revisions for the relocation of drainage structures.  The revised estimated completion date is March 2025.

SW 136 St and Old Cutler Rd: Progress has been impacted due to four FPL poles which are pending removal and additional delays due to a change from standard to decorative light poles, requested by the Village of Pinecrest. The new estimated completion date is the end of February 2025.

SW 67 Ave and Old Cutler Rd: The start date of this project was impacted due to litigation, which has now been resolved. Work is ongoing, with an estimated completion date of March 2025.

Please note that the dates above may change due to weather or supply chain disruptions. We will continue to inform Pinecrest residents about the project as we receive updates from the county. For the timeliest information subscribe the Village’s official source of news.
