Pinecrest Announces Happy Pinecrest People Initiative

In a move to foster community well-being and happiness, Pinecrest is proud to announce the launch of the Happy Pinecrest People Initiative (HaPPI), a year-long pilot program developed in partnership with the World Happiness Foundation. This initiative aligns with Pinecrest’s mission to enhance the quality of life for its residents.

In March 2024, Pinecrest launched the Happy Pinecrest People Initiative (HaPPI) in partnership with the World Happiness Foundation. More than 350 residents engaged in strategic workshops, focus groups and resident surveys to help our community gain a deeper understanding of what contributes to happiness in Pinecrest. 73% of residents report being happy. Pinecrest to Host World Happiness Fest as First US City of Happiness

The Village of Pinecrest, recently designated as the first U.S. City of Happiness, will welcome visitors to Pinecrest Gardens on March 20-21, 2025, for the World Happiness Fest. This global celebration of joy, well-being, and connection coincides with the International Day of Happiness and brings together thought leaders, wellness advocates, and community changemakers from around the world.

Pinecrest’s journey will reach an exciting milestone on March 20 and 21, 2025, when the Village hosts the World Happiness Fest at Pinecrest Gardens. This two-day global event will feature inspiring talks, interactive workshops and community celebrations focused on the theme of Regenerative Happiness.
